What are ADRs?

Many global companies have their shares traded in the United States, either on a regulated stock exchange or on the Over-The-Counter (“OTC”) market. These shares more commonly known as American Depositary Receipts or ADRs, are traded and settled just like U.S. stocks.

Companies establish ADR facilities in order to provide a convenient access for US investors who wish to diversify their portfolios internationally using U.S. dollars.

The Bank Depositary Receipts Virtual Investor Conference Platform

Deutsche Bank’s interactive dbVIC platform contains a live-presentation area with information on the speaker and the ability to listen live (and afterwards OnDemand) to a company representative.

Furthermore, there is an exhibition area with virtual booths for participating companies. These booths contain corporate videos, factsheets, annual reports and other useful investor information, including contact details and a chat room where company staff can be contacted.
